Spirit of the Arts is devoted to the celebration of life through music, theater and the visual arts.
Hello SOTA Family, It is with a sad heart that I share with you that our dear friend Dino Biris has
passed away. He left us Monday night. There is a celebration of life event being planned for Saturday,
November 5th, 2011 at the Dole Mansion. Details are below and you can download the invitation as a pdf

We invite you to share memories through written or spoken word, music or other forms of expression. (Sound will be provided. There is also a grand piano available. If you have questions contact Cassandra)
There will be cards available to write your thoughts and memories and place in a memory box.
If you have photos or videos that you would like to share, contact Adam Biris at adambiris@gmail.com or Hobie at buttertooth@charter.net . We will be setting up a blog to give you and the family an opportunity to post memories and share.

Dorothy wishes to thank family and friends for the texts, e-mails, phone calls, music, food, visits, assistance and prayers that she and Dino received over the past several months. There are so many wonderfully talented artists in our own communities who are never given the chance to share their gifts. Through our open mics and concert events, we provide opportunities for every level of artist at every stage of their artistic development. Whether it is someone looking for a chance to share a poem, a new song, a painting, or even try their hand at stand-up comedy, or just come to listen and enjoy, we want to give all those involved a safe and supportive environment to explore themselves creatively. It is our hope to bring the arts back into our everyday lives. The arts are for all of us to express and enjoy. They allow us to see the world in a different light. We invite you to join us in our journey. Come and
support our vision by participating or being an audience member at our events.
