More information

SOTA open mics are designed to give performers a supportive and nurturing environment to share their talents. We do our best to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed and to provide an attentive listening audience.  To support other artists, we ask that everyone stay for the entire evening if possible.

We ask all performers to sign-up between 6:30 and 6:50p.m.

No advance sign-ups will be taken. At 6:55, we will draw names of those artists present to determine the order of performance for the evening.

We will start promptly at 7:00p.m and have a total of only 24 slots.

If you are not present when the order is drawn, your name will be placed in the next open slot upon your arrival until all slots are filled. If all slots are filled and we have extra people wanting to perform, it will be only as time allows. Each performer is given 10 minutes to perform with a limit of 2 songs.

There is a $3.00 cover for both artists and audience members to cover the cost of promotion and maintaining equipment.

If you have questions, please e-mail us or call 847-507-1352 or

262-745-2251 and leave a message.
