Be the Symphony You Were Created To Be
Dorothy has found music to be a very important part of her life since she was a child.
She was raised in a family that sang and danced all of the time even during the most trying times. She started vocal training
25 years ago and has enjoyed singing, acting, and performing with an original rock band and now Sapphire Song. Dorothy's belief
that the Arts are necessary for human expression and well-being led her to two pursuits. She has a degree in Fine Art and
is a watercolor artist, and has another degree in Oriental Medicine. She combined these two areas in her Holistic Health business,
which was called The Hummingbird, which is a blend of the healing and creative arts. Her interest in sound therapies and music
and their affect on health and neurological disorders has led her to the Verhoog Music Institute where she is currently involved
in piano technique. She is currently working on her own music compositions in her private studios. Dorothy lives with her
husband, Dino and many animal friends in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
